About WES Health System Outpatient Center Windrim

WES Health System Outpatient Center Windrim in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a community healthcare facility that serves adults, adolescents and their families. They provide compassionate and comprehensive care in an outpatient setting. You'll be connected to different services within your community that can help you on the path to health and wellness. Adults are served through their outpatient behavioral program. There's also a substance use recovery program for children aged 11 to 17. They accept policies from most major insurance providers including Medicaid.

Their Passages Program is designed to target adolescents who are navigating a substance use struggle or are at risk. This program focuses on helping children reestablish healthy habits so that they can abstain from drug use. There's a care team that will work with your child to help them get to the root cause of their substance use struggles. Often a co-occurring mental health struggle like depression or anxiety exists along with the substance use struggle.

Adolescents are supported through individual, group and family counseling. Your child will learn how to identify triggers that have contributed to their substance use as well as different coping strategies and techniques they can apply to their life. Families are also supported through intentional counseling alongside their child in recovery.

This facility also provides culturally competent care to meet the needs of the Asian community. For example, there's a dedicated Vietnamese therapist and case manager who helps the growing Vietnamese population here.
