About Wellcome Manor Family Services

Wellcome Manor Family Services in Garden City, Minnesota, won the 2024 Addiction Group award for best drug and alcohol rehab center in the area. They are a co-occurring residential inpatient facility for women struggling with drugs and alcohol. Their program is specifically designed to treat women only. They accept more major health insurance plans.

The program itself has two parts. The first part of the program is 90-120 days in length. You must complete this phase before you can move on to the second part. The second part is approximately 30-90 days in length.

During your treatment stay you will be attending individual counseling and group therapy. During these sessions you will be able to address any mental health issues, substance use disorders, chemical dependencies and parenting. They use a holistic, comprehensive approach so you will be able to address everything simultaneously.

I like that they help you learn and build new healthy habits to aid you in your long term recovery to sobriety. They will also help you build necessary life skills to maintain your sobriety.

Whether or not you have children will not affect your acceptance into the program. They have two separate resident wings. They have a wing for women without children so they can focus on their recovery and avoid the family atmosphere.

In the wing for mothers, your child up to the age of eight years old can live with you. I like that they offer an onsite daycare that is licensed. The program also includes childcare, family development and parenting education.

Adult Program

When an individual struggles with drug and alcohol use, an adult program in Minnesota can provide treatment and mental health support. Designed for men and women over the age of 18, these programs help individuals obtain and maintain sobriety.

Alcoholism

The goal of alcohol rehab in Minnesota is to help you make mental and behavioral changes that lead to recovery and long-term sobriety. Most methods rely on a combination of group and individual counseling to accomplish these goals.

Drug Rehab

Drug rehab in Minnesota often starts with assessment. Once needs are determined, the individual typically begins treatment with detox, then enters rehab, and finally receives aftercare once the program is complete. This continuum of care offers appropriate levels of support at each stage to help the individual achieve long-term recovery.

Opioid Treatment

After evaluating your needs and budget, staff at opioid rehab in Minnesota will help you determine the length of your treatment and its intensity level, to properly address your degree of opioid dependence. Most programs include detox, addiction therapy, specialized care, and aftercare support.

Women's Rehab

During women’s rehab in Minnesota, women participate in evidence-based therapies to treat their substance use disorders. Therapy methods include individual, group, family, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical behavior therapy.

Teen & Adolescent Program

Recovery is not the same for young adults as it is for older individuals. A young adult program in Minnesota treats the patient as a whole, addressing unique life-stage challenges, dual diagnosis issues, and substance abuse.
