About WCAP Counseling

Even if you haven’t heard of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, you have certainly heard of what they’re famous for. The first tomato bred for commercial use was developed in Reynoldsburg in the 1870s, leading the town to be called “The Birthplace of the Tomato.” Reynoldsburg is also home to WCAP Counseling, which provides outpatient mental health and substance use treatment, including dual diagnosis services.

WCAP accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicaid and private insurance. They also have a sliding scale of fees for those without insurance.

Outpatient Treatment and Telehealth in Reynoldsburg

The primary service available at WCAP is outpatient counseling. They offer screenings and assessments so they can create a personalized treatment plan to help you improve your mental health and/or overcome substance use.

The substance use treatment program connects you with not only counseling, but also medication assisted treatment (MAT) if appropriate. They can also give you information about peer support groups and a variety of community resources to help you throughout treatment and recovery.

WCAP also has mental health counseling to help with issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD and more. They can address these concerns alone or integrated alongside addiction treatment.

Anger Management and Crisis Support

One unique service I noticed at WCAP is their anger management program. This is a 12 week class that focuses on the idea that fear leads to anger, and that you can reduce the physiological intensity that anger causes and process the emotion in a more helpful way.

WCAP also has crisis support services. This consists of offering either an assessment or a referral to an appropriate treatment option.
