About Friends Counseling Center

Located right off of a state highway that cuts through the town of Wabash, Indiana is the Wabash Friends Counseling Center. This is a facility that provides a continuum of counseling services for individuals of all ages.

Whether you're struggling with your mental health or are overcoming addiction struggles, you'll find licensed and experienced counselors here who will help you work through your struggles.

Counseling needs will look different for everyone who's navigating addiction recovery. One of the aspects of Friends Counseling Center that I appreciate is there are a variety of therapists on hand. Some therapists can help you with mental health struggles such as depression, anxiety, or other co-occurring challenges.

Other therapists understand what it means to work with family members, helping repair relationships that have been impacted by substance use.

I find that when you have a counselor who understands what you’re going through, you'll be better able to build a connection with them so that you can get to the root cause of the negative factors impacting your life. I like that there are over a dozen counselors available here to support you.

Another element of the care here that stands out to me is their different church program affiliations. If you're someone who needs that spiritual support, you'll find it through the counseling services here. At the same time, faith based counseling does not drive the services here if you don’t need that angle of support.

The facility itself is very inviting, with counseling rooms offering warm tones and a calming environment. You’ll feel at ease as you work with your counseling team.
