About Volunteers of America of Oregon Mens Residential

The Volunteers of America of Oregon Men Residential Center is located in Portland, Oregon. This Center works with men who need robust, residential support for a substance abuse disorder.

You’ll be supported through a comprehensive care program that spans a six month period. During this time, you’ll move through a well structured program that is overseen by trained medical and mental health professionals.

This location stands out to me because to receive these services, you must have a referral from the Multnomah County criminal justice system. This referral program empowers you to have a second chance at a successful life and lasting sobriety.

You’ll be supported through many evidence based therapies including individual and group counseling. Through this, you’ll learn essential skills to help you manage your behavioral and addiction struggles. You’ll also discover how to cope with difficult emotions when they arise and how to build a plan for success through realistic goals.
