About Volunteers of America Addiction Treatment Program Outpatient
Volunteers of America’s Addiction Treatment Program provides residential and outpatient substance use services in Camden, New Jersey. Their goal is to offer a package of comprehensive programs and services that decrease the chances of substance abuse relapse.
Your treatment begins with a thorough assessment to help the team determine your correct level of care. They’ll design a plan that is tailored to your needs. That will include cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational enhancement to work on feelings, thoughts, and behaviors that may interfere with recovery. These are available with individual and group sessions. You’lll also develop healthy coping skills to deal with stress and learn relapse-prevention techniques.
Volunteers of America provides many support layers to get you on your feet. You’ll have access to housing assistance, job readiness, life skills, employment assistance, and various educational services.
They have intensive outpatient and general outpatient services available for men and women. For residential treatment, referrals must be sent from the New Jersey State Parole Board.
