Vista Taos Renewal Center in El Prado, New Mexico, is a family-owned substance abuse facility that’s nationally accredited by CARF. They've been operating for over 20 years and offer two levels of residential addiction treatment.
They offer primary care and extended care. These are also referred to as residential and transitional living programs. Both of these give clients access to a range of medical, clinical and complementary therapies.
You'll get access to a semi private bedroom with a private bathroom and patio, three home cooked meals each day, exercise facilities, yoga, meditation massage therapy, and more. Offsite activities include weekly spiritual excursions around Taos as well as visits to the local spa and health club.
Their primary program can accommodate 18 residents and the extended care program can accommodate 12 men and eight women. Casa Feliz is for men and Casa Vida is for women. These transitional homes are staffed until midnight every day. Residents benefit from additional Freedom after Residential Care while maintaining structure in a sober, supportive space to live in.
They also offer medically supervised detox to help people withdraw from substances in a safe and controlled manner. Medical staff are available between 8:00 a.m. and midnight. You'll also get individual therapy with Masters level therapists and joining group therapy 3-4 times a week.
The alumni program is for everyone who graduates from one of Vista Taos’ programs. You’ll get access to a network of sober connections, social and educational meetings and much more.
