Located in South Ahoskie, North Carolina, Vidant Roanoke – Behavioral Health is a dual diagnosis mental health and substance use disorder treatment center providing a full continuum of care. Offering a range of drug rehab programs, including residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment, medication management, outpatient treatment, case management, and counseling.

Vidant Roanoke – Behavioral Health offers dual diagnosis services at a range of locations throughout North Carolina. The Ashokie location is an outpatient clinic offering behavioral health and addiction treatment services six days per week. While programs vary, Vidant Roanoke – Behavioral Health will conduct a comprehensive mental health assessment to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Program services may include medication assisted treatment (MAT), mental health assessments, education, relapse prevention groups, pharmacy services, and mental health skills building. MAT is the use of certain medications, like methadone, in combination with counseling, for the treatment of opioid use disorder. This treatment is offered on an outpatient basis and is considered the gold standard of treatment by the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

Vidant Roanoke – Behavioral Health accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, military insurance, and self pay. They also offer financial assistance.
