About Victory Clinical Services Saginaw

Victory Clinical Services Saginaw helps folks with opioid use disorders heal via medication assisted treatment (MAT). This technique uses meds approved by the FDA alongside counseling to treat opioid use disorder. Specialized treatment is available for pregnant women. They’re located in Saginaw, Michigan. This location is easy to access by major road. Nearby Celebration Square and Saginaw River encourage outdoor relaxation and connection to nature.

Their accreditation by CARF indicates a commitment to quality care. Their clinical team provides quality care to help you lead a happier, healthier and more productive life.

When you visit the facility, the clinical team will assess you. They’ll then create a personalized care plan based on your assessed needs. Your care plan will include the meds that’ll work best to help you manage opioid withdrawal. The facility offers methadone, buprenorphine and Vivitrol. These meds help you manage withdrawal by curbing cravings and eliminating withdrawal symptoms.

You’ll subsequently attend individual counseling and group therapy to help you manage the psychological aspect of your opioid use. The therapy groups include addiction and life skill education classes and relapse prevention sessions. Emphasis is on uncovering the root causes of your opioid addiction and developing healthy tools to cope with triggers.

This facility offers two other unique services besides MAT. This includes methadone detox and acupuncture detox (acudetox). Methadone detox is a medically supervised way of discontinuing the use of methadone after opioid treatment. You can also take that route during opioid treatment when you no longer want to rely on methadone as a maintenance med. Whatever your motivation is, the procedure aims to safely reduce and eventually eliminate methadone use. Acudetox uses ear acupuncture to support “whole person” recovery from opioid dependence.

MAT, acudetox and methadone detox can form part of your personalized plan depending on your recovery goals. Your treatment program may also include urinalysis and breathalyzer testing to monitor compliance with treatment guidelines. The facility also offers recovery peer support services, case management and aftercare support. Case management involves care coordination and connection to community resources to support lasting recovery. Your case manager may refer you to self help groups like AA and NA as well.
