About Ventura County Rescue
Ventura County Rescue Mission Alliance, located in Oxnard, California, is a community care program that offers residential drug and alcohol treatment programs for men and women. These programs are Christian faith-based, aligning with a 12-step curriculum and incorporating both addiction treatment and Christian education.
The men’s residential program is a 10-month inpatient program that guides men in recovery toward sober living. The program includes individual counseling as well as case management, spirituality and Christianity classes, and anger management training. The program also includes vocational skills training in culinary arts, computer skills, warehouse vocations, and other occupational areas.
The women’s residential program called the Lighthouse Life Recovery Program, is available for single women and mothers. This inpatient drug rehab is a 9-month program that also offers housing for clients’ children, accepting boys up to age 10-12 and girls. The program includes addiction treatment and counseling as well as life skills training, Bible studies, and vocational training. It also provides programs for clients’ children while their mothers are in treatment.
While most drug rehab centers are paid programs that may be covered by out-of-network benefits from your insurance provider, the Ventura County Rescue Mission Alliance is a nonprofit organization.
