About Vashti Center
Vesti Center Thomasville in Thomasville, Georgia, helps children and teens who are struggling with substance abuse and behavioral health concerns. They serve clients between the ages of five and 17. They call their on-campus units RBWO Cottages which stands for room, board and watchful oversight. Some kids come here for just a few weeks while others stay all the way up to their high school graduation. If youth want to remain in the program but have aged out of the RBWO program, they offer transitional housing for clients up to age 21.
They incorporate faith-based programs like weekly Bible studies, church services, youth groups, field trips and peer mentoring services. They also offer recreational activities and life skills training. I like that they’re extremely thorough with their intake process, offering trauma assessments alongside evaluations to address your psychiatric and medication needs.
In addition to residential treatment, they also offer outpatient counseling. Vesti counseling services include nursing support, individual, group and family therapy, school-based counseling and even home-based services. These services are available for children in residential care as well.
