About Valley Hope of Norton
Valley Hope of Norton is located in Norton, Kansas. The organization is accredited by The Joint Commission and is LegitScript certified. They’re also members of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers. Adults are able to receive residential treatment with detox included.
Insurance is accepted. If you do not have insurance you are able to self pay. You are able to receive a big discount if you pay upfront. You are able to pay via a medical loan.
Once you enroll, you’ll usually spend a few days in the medical detox unit. You will have medical monitoring and supervision round the clock. To ensure safety, you will have a full medical evaluation done. I like that the medical evaluation includes both a physical and lab work.
Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available if needed. The medications will help ease your withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Their goal is to make you comfortable so that you are able to focus on your recovery.
Their residential treatment is not only intensive but it is also immersive. After your evaluation, the treatment team will not only plan your treatment but also coordinate and manage it. Your treatment team will be a mix of physicians, nurses, counselors, case managers and coordinators. If you choose to also include spiritual care, you will have a chaplain involved in your treatment.
Your time in treatment will be focused on treatment. Between group therapy, individual sessions and 12 Step sessions you will receive about 40 hours of treatment per week. Your treatment team will be able to help you with discharge planning and even provide assistance so that you may return to work.
One of the unique aspects of recovery at Valley Hope is its spiritual care and wellness activities. Outdoor sports and activities, reflective time, and chaplain services all serve to fulfill broader client needs. It’s no wonder so many former clients highly recommend them, and regard their time at Valley Hope as a life-changing experience.
