About Valle Vista Health System
Valle Vista Health System helps adults from 18 to 70 who are dealing with mental health or substance abuse issues. They offer inpatient care for people having addiction issues as well as outpatient programs for those who need ongoing support. After a free assessment they create a treatment plan based on what each person needs. They're situated in Greenwood, Indiana. It’s close to Indy South Greenwood Airport.
A Vista of Programs to Choose
Their inpatient program is for adults who need immediate care like detox to stabilize serious symptoms. It can last 3-7 days. The goal is to help people get to a better place so they can move to a lower level of care and keep making progress. While you’re there, all meals and linens are provided.
For those who don’t need to stay in a hospital but still want structure, they have a full day treatment program five days a week. It includes therapy and counseling and focuses on both mental health and personal growth. There’s also a part-time program that meets a few days a week with flexible hours. It’s great for people who need support but can manage some independence.
They put a big focus on addiction treatment. I think it’s a nice variety that they have inpatient and outpatient options, including a special program for opioid addiction through New Vista Outpatient Recovery Center. Smoking isn’t allowed, and they can get you started on nicotine replacement therapy as part of your program.
<Meeting You Where You Are
They also help kids and teens with inpatient care, outpatient therapy and a program just for young women. Their programs focus on things like anxiety, depression and trauma. They also help families learn better ways to support their kids.
What stands out to me more than anything is how they meet people where they are. Whether someone is in a crisis or just needs a little extra support, they have different programs to help people get back on track and feel more in control of their lives.
