NMT and TF-CBT at UMC
Believing in and implementing the neurosequential model of therapeutics, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, UMCH Family Services staff and medical professionals are trained in both philosophies and use their knowledge to support children, youth, and adults deal with the stresses of life and the complexities of trauma or mental illness.
Convenience and Compassion
Reynoldsburg is approximately 15 miles east of Columbus, meaning it’s convenient to the Port Columbus International Airport, the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair, restaurants and parks. There are several green areas near the UMCH facility, including bike trails, playgrounds, and hiking trails at Tanglewood Park. In summer, there’s a local farmer’s market to enjoy, and the Links at Groveport has fun and recreational activities for the whole family.
UMCH has 5/5 on Facebook reviews and offers residential and foster family treatment situations. This means foster families that children are placed with have extra training to provide the most healing and healthy environment possible for the child or youth to live in while receiving care. They also have residential, day and outpatient treatment and therapy programs for all ages.
Insurance is accepted, this includes private, state, and federal health insurance plans.

Levels of Care
During outpatient rehab in Ohio, you’ll develop sober-living skills and learn how to live a sober lifestyle. This happens through regular meetings with a recovery expert and involvement in a 12-step program. Your outpatient treatment can continue for as long as you need it, from weeks to years.
If you’re struggling with both mental illness and addiction at the same time, dual diagnosis treatment in Ohio is ideal. This treatment provides an integrated approach to treat both disorders effectively.
