Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Turquoise Lodge Hospital, is a dual diagnosis addiction treatment center for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses offering medical detox, partial hospitalization, outpatient, intensive outpatient programs, social rehabilitation, peer support, and aftercare.
Established in 1953, Turquoise Lodge Hospital is part of the New Mexico Department of Health, which provides behavioral and medical services to 85 percent of individuals in New Mexico. Turquoise Lodge’s clinical team provides a full continuum of care from detox to community support. The clinical team meets their needs through a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment plan. Programs include medically monitored detox, individual counseling, group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family education and support, mindfulness groups, and relapse prevention training. The detox program typically lasts five to ten days. The social drug rehab program provides daily programming on an outpatient basis for 18 to 21 days, and the IOP provides weekly programming for three to six months. Clients complete programs to resolve their substance use problems, develop new coping skills, and have a supportive community network to maintain their recovery.
