About Turning Point West Campus

Turning Point is a mental health and addiction facility in Moultrie, Georgia, that offers both inpatient and outpatient treatments. They are proud of their gold seal of accreditation from The Joint Commision. They serve those with substance use disorders, mental illness, or both. Their campus is nestled in a quiet pocket of Georgia where you can focus on healing in a serene setting. They accept Medicare, TRICARE, most commercial insurances and self–pay.

Inpatient clients get around-the-clock supervision in separate gendered units where recovery and healing are the focus. They also offer medical detox for those who are beginning their recovery process. You’ll be given medications to reduce uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. Once you’ve stabilized, you’ll focus on next steps to help you move forward.

They also have an acute inpatient psychiatric program. In fact, they’re approved by the state of Georgia as an emergency receiving and evaluation facility. Clients get access to group therapy and education and skills groups. You’ll also get recreational therapy, family counseling, and support with creating a crisis safety plan. In the evenings, you can choose to attend AA or NA support groups.

Their outpatient substance use groups are also for folks with co-occuring mental illnesses. Turning Point offers partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. These are gender specific groups that offer 12 Step facilitation, individual and group counseling and help with anger management, problem solving, and life skills. PHP is offered 7 days a week so that you can fit your treatment into your schedule. IOP is similar in scope, but requires fewer hours a week.
