About The Turning Point

The Turning Point, Inc. provides substance use disorder treatment for adults and adolescents across Harris and Fort Bend counties.

The organization combines cognitive-behavioral strategies, behavioral skills training and holistic treatment planning to address chemical dependency, co-occurring mental health concerns and opioid addiction.

The Turning Point delivers client-centered care designed to support meaningful behavioral change and lasting community engagement.

Outpatient Substance Use Treatment

The Turning Point specializes in outpatient and intensive outpatient addiction treatment for adults with a flexible three to six-month program structure that I noticed adjusts to each client's pace and progress.

Care begins with a thorough assessment and continues through sessions guided by experienced clinicians.

Treatment incorporates anger management, stress management, assertiveness and communication training, relapse prevention and social support network building.

Aftercare and medication-assisted treatment options for opioid addiction round out a continuum of care that targets both substance use and the underlying behaviors that sustain it.

Adolescent and Family-Centered Recovery

The adolescent program serves youth aged seventeen and younger through a thirteen to twenty-four-week curriculum featuring individualized treatment planning, peer support, HIV education and behavioral life skills.

I appreciate that family involvement is central, with monthly family group sessions, parent support and relationship counseling that strengthen the home environment for sustained recovery.
