About Turning Point Crisis Center
Turning Point Crisis Center is a short-term acute residential crisis inpatient program in Oceanside, California for individuals with mental health conditions who need immediate treatment. If addiction is the primary diagnosis, clients may need to seek treatment at an alcohol and drug rehab center. This location will take individuals with dual diagnosis, as long as addiction is the secondary concern. Each person receives an assessment to help diagnose and determine the best treatment plan of action.
Turning Point Crisis Center is an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization. The average length of stay is nine days. Clients must voluntarily agree to the services and rules of the program. They receive individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and medication management services. This program is designed to help stabilize individuals so they may receive ongoing care through a step-down service such as residential treatment, outpatient treatment, or individual counseling. Turning Point crisis center accepts most major medical insurance plans.
