About Palmer Tulsa Women and Childrens Center
The Tulsa Women and Children’s Center provides residential care for women and their children. Mothers in Oklahoma can focus on substance abuse recovery without leaving their kids. They also provide treatment for single and pregnant women. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, BCBS, Beacon, Humana and other insurances.
Women 18 and older can attend this center for addiction recovery. If you have children under 12, you can bring them to live on site with you. TWCC provides a children’s program that can care for infants through school-aged kids. There are 52 beds available and programs can range from 30 to 120 days.
The program focuses on chemical dependency needs as well as parenting skills. Each woman will get 35 hours of therapeutic activities each week. This includes mental health therapy, trauma therapy, medical services, domestic violence counseling and more. Your case manager will work with you to help you get referrals to meet other needs you may have. You’ll work together to plan your next steps after you leave the center.
