About Tulalip Health System Behavioral Health

Tulalip Health System Behavioral Health is in Tulalip, Washington. This community health center provides culturally competent addiction care for members of the Tulalip tribal community aged 12 and older. Some services are also available for family members, members of other native tribes, and anyone in the community.

Their programs honor the values and cultural teachings of the Tulalip tribe. You can access various comprehensive outpatient programs to reach your recovery goals. Group, individual, and family counseling, relapse prevention, DUI assessments, life skills groups, and more are available.

Holistic Care Referrals

For me, their holistic care referrals really stood out. They help you heal your mind, body, and soul to promote sustained recovery and overall wellness. You can participate in acupuncture treatment to balance and restore your natural energy while alleviating withdrawal symptoms. You can also access reiki treatment referrals.

Referrals also include specialized gambling addiction treatment. While often overlooked, gambling can be just as harmful to your quality of life as substances. You can access counseling, treatment, consultations, community activities and events, and referrals. Tribal members and non natives are welcome to participate.

MAT & Narcan

Another great feature I noticed was they provide medication assisted treatment. This approach can help you manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings Suboxone, approved by the FDA. You can then focus solely on getting to the root of addiction and sustaining recovery. This program is currently only available for members of the Tulalip tribal community.

You can also be trained on Narcan. This free opioid overdose reversal medication can save lives. You’ll benefit from training to efficiently administer Narcan and reduce potential harm.
