About Trilogy Recovery Community
Trilogy Recovery Community provides recovery support services in suburban Walla Walla, Washington. The Pioneer Park T Ball Field isn’t too far away. Services are provided to adults and youths as young as 7 who are impacted by substance misuse, even if they don’t do drugs themselves. What stood out to me is that they are a nonprofit that offers their services at no cost.
I like that their staff are going to meet you and your family where you are at in your recovery. They will help determine if what you are currently doing helps you advance or backtrack on your journey. Your substance use and/or mental health disorder recovery will be supported. If you are needing support as an impact of loving someone with these conditions, you’ll be able to receive it here.
Their youth services are between the ages of 7-18 years old. Peer support and individual counseling will be provided in both the youth service and the adult service. During your time in peer support, you will meet with one of their staff members and develop your personalized recovery plan.
They do offer programs for youth who are in custody at the Juvenile Justice Center. The purpose of their recovery and me program is to begin discussions about behavioral changes that occur with substance abuse. You’ll also be provided with strategies to make effective decisions. Their other program is Substance 101. This group program occurs quarterly. The main goal of the program is to reduce offenses related to drug and alcohol that are associated with high risk behaviors.
Youth between the ages of 13-18 are able to participate in the self management and recovery training (SMART) program. You’ll learn evidence based tools that will help build and manage motivation. They will also help you cope with any urges, live a balanced life and manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Services are available in Spanish as well as English.
