About Tri County Mental Health Services Maple Woods

Beacon Mental Health was formerly known as Tri County Mental Health Services Maple Woods. While the name has changed, the location has not as they are still located in Kansas City, Missouri. This community health organization works with teens and adults who are living with a mental health struggle or have a substance use disorder. No matter your struggle, you’ll find many different outpatient services to meet your unique needs.

This community health organization really stands out to me because they take a comprehensive approach to care. They offer many different treatment options and support so that you can find the right treatment approach for your needs.

I also appreciate that they consider all aspects of your struggle before connecting you with care. For example, they understand the importance of delivering trauma informed treatment. If you have a history of trauma, the care team will help guide your treatment plan accordingly. You’ll also have the chance to work with therapists and counselors tol help you sort your internal struggles and understand why these struggles have led to your mental health or substance use disorder.

If you’re a teenager, the care options provided here are woven into the school system. This is the least restrictive approach to connecting you with the specialized care you need.
