About Tri County Community Services

Tri County Community Services used to provide outpatient addiction treatment within the community of Clayton, New Mexico. Their mission was to provide substance abuse treatment, behavioral health services, and access to support services to enable community members to live healthy, sober lives. They have since closed.

While they were open, treatment programs included an intensive outpatient program (IOP), standard outpatient care, and early intervention and aftercare. You could access comprehensive substance abuse assessments, compliance monitoring, and drug testing at this location if you need it.

Trauma Informed Outpatient Care

To address early intervention and aftercare, you were assessed and received education and counseling to slow the progression of your addiction issues. For aftercare, this level of treatment kept your recovery strong. The standard outpatient program included regularly scheduled treatment sessions for nine hours or less per week.

The IOP was for you if you required a more intensive schedule of over nine hours per week of treatment sessions. I saw that you engaged in counseling, psychoeducation, and mental health support for any co-occurring disorders.
