About Together for Youth

Together for Youth is a trauma informed youth and family behavioral health provider in Canaan, New York offering substance use and mental health support for children, teens and young adults under 21.

I want to note that the organization delivers outpatient services and partial hospitalization, dual diagnosis treatment and aftercare through home and community based care across New York State.

Its mission centers on trauma informed, family focused support tailored to youth.

Youth Substance Use Programs

Care often begins with a comprehensive assessment and treatment planning, helping clinicians understand each young person's mental health, substance use and family needs.

From there, youth may access outpatient services, partial hospitalization and dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring conditions.

Clients and families can expect therapy, along with psychiatric nurse practitioner assessment and medication management support, nursing case management and aftercare or alumni support.

I want to add that services are frequently delivered in homes, schools and community settings rather than only on site.
