About THRIVE
THRIVE’s Community Residence is a supportive living program for folks in the early stages of recovery from substance misuse in Watertown, New York. You must have a substance use diagnosis and need both residential care and additional support services due to homelessness or an unsuitable living situation to be eligible. They also accept referrals for individuals seeking sober group living situations that encourage accountability and personal responsibility.
The facility boasts a homey setting where you can focus on personal growth, making better choices and building self confidence. This is achieved through peer support, personalized treatment and group and individual counseling. You’ll participate in daily activities and chores to build structure and character as you progress through treatment. This strengthens your coping and relapse prevention skills.
The program also involves fun recreational activities, education and vocational training and self-awareness activities. The goal is to promote independence in recovery and equip you with the tools for a successful, sober and productive lifestyle. Personalized rehabilitation service is provided by their compassionate staff to boost your independent living skills and streamline your transition into the community.
They may offer case management services such as coordination of care with community providers to ensure continuity of care. They’ll also connect you to community resources that support your recovery like permanent housing and job placement. The program is certified by OASAS and accredited by CARF. This may indicate commitment to quality care.
