About The Recovery Village Miami at Baptist Health Drug and Alcohol Rehab

The Recovery Village Miami at Baptist Health was an outpatient rehabilitation facility in Miami, Florida. It was located on Sunset Drive before moving in 2022. At this location, they provided clients with evidence based treatments and recreational amenities.

Care From Experienced Medical Staff

The team members who worked at the facility had years of combined experience to give clients expert level care tailored to their needs. Some of the staff members that treated clients included doctors, nurses, and masters level therapists.

In addition to these staff members, patients would receive assistance from the admissions and discharge team. I noticed that they also had bilingual staff members to meet the needs of their diverse client base.

Outpatient Treatment Services in Miami

Clients were able to benefit from getting their outpatient treatment services not far from various relaxing beaches and parks. In between treatment sessions, patients could enjoy activities such as walking around Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden or relaxing at Miami Beach.

The different programs that were available at the facility included intensive outpatient programming, general outpatient programs and aftercare planning. I liked that they were very detailed in making sure that patients were prepared to live a sober lifestyle after their treatment.

The aftercare plan featured services such as maintenance medication plans, recommendations for continuing individual therapy, recommendations for local group therapy, and a list of 12 step support groups. Clients who needed medication to help sustain their recovery would continue to have Vivitrol administered by a primary care doctor or a medical professional. Staff members also provided clients with sober living home recommendations that were nearby.
