About The Remington House

The Remington House is a residential substance use treatment and behavioral health program in Fort Collins, Colorado serving boys and young men ages 10 to 21 with complex emotional, mental health and substance related needs.

Operating in coordination with The Jacob Center, the program offers residential care and intensive outpatient support.

I appreciate how its approach emphasizes resilience, felt safety, connection and trauma responsive care designed to foster lasting positive change.

Youth Treatment and Life Skills

Care may begin in a structured residential living setting, where young people receive therapeutic support alongside peer interaction and shared responsibilities, school attendance and life skills development.

For youth who need ongoing support while remaining in the community, intensive outpatient services provide added supervision and structured peer interaction.

Through The Jacob Center, I want to note that clients can access counseling grounded in trust based relational intervention and EMDR, Polyvagal theory and somatic based interventions.

These approaches focus on nervous system regulation and coping skills, communication and relationship building for youth who have experienced adversity or trauma.
