About Pike Co Recovery Council
The Recovery Council is a CARF-accredited treatment center located in central Waverly, Ohio. Since 1977, they have provided treatment for adults who are struggling with co-occurring conditions and substance abuse disorders. They offer traditional outpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient (IOP).
If you’re struggling with immediate harsh side effects due to chemical dependency trying to maintain stability can feel unachievable due to discomfort, withdrawals, nausea, and cravings. Their withdrawal management services offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) with support from their team of licensed clinicians. They can conduct referrals and assessments to connect you to higher levels of care if needed.
You’ll benefit from receiving outpatient treatment here because of the flexibility you have to create a schedule that won't interfere with your healing or other responsibilities. During outpatient care, you can receive case management services, individual counseling, and group therapy. A therapist utilizes evidence-based therapies to help you develop coping skills, manage heightened emotions, handle triggers, and openly express challenges that could be impacting your recovery.
What sticks out to me the most is their family recovery program. This allows you and your loved ones a chance to communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, establish healthy boundaries, and reunify the family unit. This program can help you and your family to discuss resentment, grief, and loss. This service is available after you complete other levels of care.
It’s not uncommon to experience painful experiences during active addiction and because of this, it can impact your mental health or the way you treat yourself. Their trauma-informed program was designed for women who have experienced trauma and human trafficking. They offer coaching, counseling, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Canal Park and Raidiger Field are close by if you enjoy exercise and being outdoors. It can be a chance to unwind between sessions and clear your mind.
