About The Phoenix
The Phoenix provides substance use care in Denver, Colorado. It is a unique outpatient program that does not focus on addiction but aims to address the isolation that may be the cause of many substance use issues. Through the movement, they address the importance of connection and fellowship for addiction recovery.
The Phoenix Model is all about the human spirit and reliance. They believe that many achievements are possible through socialization and fitness. Unlike more traditional recovery programs, this is a social recovery model with peer coaching and fitness therapy.
The Phoenix team believes that everyone has intrinsic strengths and abilities. By coming together and showing each other support they believe that we will rise from the past ashes like a phoenix.
They ask that everyone continue to abstain from substances including vaping and cigarette smoking. They want their events to remain sober spaces for each person. That creates a nurturing environment with like-minded friends all showing up for each other substance-free.
Everyone is welcome here. The goal is to have a community that supports sobriety for everyone, anywhere no matter where they are in the recovery process. The community is a haven for anyone in need of recovery assistance.
There offer in-person and online events like indoor climbing, open gym sessions, meditation and yoga. These are only a sample of the interactive activities you can attend. Connection brings transformation and that’s where sobriety thrives.
The Phoenix is an active, sober community and it’s also available when you travel. You can check the website for upcoming events and locations to explore all the activities you might enjoy. You’ll work on recovery while building lasting friendships, finding support and having fun.
