About The LCADA Way Wadsworth Wellness Center
Riveon was formed by the merger of The LCADA Way and The Nord Center. They provide mental health and substance use treatment in Huron, Lorain, Cuyahoga and Erie Counties in Ohio. This location is their main office in Lorain. They treat adults and adolescents and can also offer help for problem gambling and support for sexual assault survivors.
Riveon takes multiple insurance plans and can also help you with other payment options if needed. You can reach out directly for more information.
Adult Substance Use Treatment Options
Riveon has both residential and outpatient substance use treatment. The residential facility, The Key, treats women and allows children up to age four to live with their mothers. The Key also has outpatient treatment for women.
I noticed they have specialized services to treat and support pregnant women and new mothers through the first year of a child’s life. That can make a big difference in helping these women stay on track in recovery.
At other locations, there’s a day treatment that provides individual and group therapy along with family sessions. There are also outpatient programs for men, including an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and general outpatient care.
Detox and Medication Assisted Treatment
Riveon also helps clients begin medication assisted treatment (MAT). They also have ambulatory detox that offers meds for opioid detox and withdrawal without requiring you to live onsite. Medication options include Naltrexone, Suboxone and Vivitrol. You must also participate in outpatient treatment during the MAT program.
Aftercare includes peer support and help with a strong support network so that you get to the point where you can sustain recovery on your own. I like that they may also connect you to community resources and social services.
Amenities
In order to maintain a sense of autonomy, many private rehab facilities offer clients the ability to choose their own private rooms. The privacy and personal space ensure that the recovery process is as comfortable as possible.
Addiction treatment in the metro area benefits clients by offering seamless connections from the city, around the state, and those seeking out-of-state treatment. Another benefit of attending a metro area drug rehab is that you’re close to major airports and ground transportation services.
Business centers are a preferred amenity in many mental health and addiction recovery facilities and typically feature secure, high-speed internet, computer stations, printers, and related business technologies. Business centers are designed to enable professionals and students to continue to participate in work or school activities without leaving the treatment facility.

Levels of Care
When you enter drug rehab in Ohio, detox is your first step toward recovery. Detox involves slowly and safely purging your systems of all addictive substances. This happens under 24/7 supervision and may include medication for withdrawal.
During outpatient rehab in Ohio, you’ll develop sober-living skills and learn how to live a sober lifestyle. This happens through regular meetings with a recovery expert and involvement in a 12-step program. Your outpatient treatment can continue for as long as you need it, from weeks to years.
Ongoing counseling and support are necessary to maintain sobriety after initial treatment. Aftercare rehab in Ohio provides this support. You’ll have access to resources that help you navigate challenges and prevent relapse. Most people in recovery tap into these resources for at least a few months, and many remain in aftercare for more than a year.
If you’re struggling with both mental illness and addiction at the same time, dual diagnosis treatment in Ohio is ideal. This treatment provides an integrated approach to treat both disorders effectively.
