The Jericho House is a faith based long term residential recovery program in Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia. The program serves as a sanctuary for adult males recovering from substance use disorders. It offers healing and hope to these men and guides them toward a path to lasting recovery based on Christian principles. The facility offers a supportive and structured setting where deep healing and personal transformation can occur.

Sautee Nacoochee is a small, picturesque community nestled in the Appalachian foothills. The area is known for its rolling hills and lush forests wherein lies its peaceful charm. The facility is situated along GA-255, a scenic route in the Sautee Nacoochee Valley. It is basically surrounded by the Appalachian foothills.

The popular tourist town of Helen, known for its unique Bavarian style aesthetic is about seven miles from the facility. Other nearby cities like Cleveland and Clarkesville can conveniently link to the facility via GA17 and GA75. Public transportation is limited in this rural area.

Various natural attractions are available for recreational activities if outdoor recreation is supported. Anna Ruby Falls is just four miles from the clinic. This stunning dual waterfall within the Chattahoochee National Forest is worth a visit.

You’ll engage in various recovery focused spiritual activities. This includes Bible study, prayer meetings and worship sessions. This reinvigorates your heart and spirit, bolsters your faith and reinforces your resolve to recover and thrive. It helps strengthen your personal relationships with God. You’ll also receive life skills training while onsite. This may cut across both hard and soft skills like budgeting, cooking and healthy communication. This fosters lasting sobriety and successful reentry into life’s various arenas. It teaches personal responsibility while preparing you for independent living upon graduation.

Work therapy involves structured tasks or jobs that teach responsibility and discipline and inspire a sense of purpose.
