About The HOW Center

The H.O.W. Center is a sober living substance abuse treatment residence for men in Beaumont, Texas, just outside Magnolia Park. Their clients are adults who have completed a treatment program elsewhere and do not have a supportive environment to return to. The H.O.W. Center provides clients with a structured environment where they can develop and practice recovery and coping skills. A stay typically lasts one year. Services they offer include sober living housing, 12 step groups and programs, educational groups, and life skills training during their stay. Clients are given a shared bedroom, access to laundry facilities and exercise equipment, and three meals a day.

The H.O.W. Center specializes in providing sober living housing. This serves as a transitional step following treatment. It's less restrictive than traditional inpatient treatment, but clients also have more responsibilities in running and maintaining the house.
