The Guidance Center provides substance addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment in Flagstaff, Arizona, for adults 18 and older. They have residential and outpatient programs available.
Residential treatment offers a more individualized approach that includes a structured setting for those needing to concentrate on recovery without distractions present. The length of stay is based on your clinical need and determined by the initial assessment during intake.
You'll also participate in a daily outing that will help you interact with the community in healthy ways. These trips could include visits to parks, local hikes, and outside AA meetings.
Case management is included during your program to help guide you and provide an ongoing care plan leading into the outpatient program. Medication management is available when needed, and you’ll have 24/7 medical supervision.
Outpatient services are appropriate for those who need less restrictive care or who want to live at home while receiving treatment. You’ll receive evidence-based care that includes methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and the matrix model to examine their actions and thoughts and help them exchange negative behaviors for positive treatment goals.
They include additional groups to give everyone a more complete continuum of care. Guests have options like meditation, art and writing groups, exercise, and skills groups.
The Guidance Center also offers crisis services. This is available 24/7 for anyone in need of urgent help.
