The CARITAS Healing Place for Men helps you create a pathway to stability in Richmond, Virginia. Since 2005, this residential recovery center has provided time, resources and community to help men overcome addiction. A Place Where Lasting Transformation Begins

For me, their treatment duration really stood out. Their extended recovery program lays the foundation for stability, employment and wellness. You can participate in an abstinence based structured treatment plan that empowers you to heal, grow and reclaim your life. With more time in treatment, you can really focus on developing and reinforcing coping skills. You’ll also have plenty of time to create a sober network and improve other areas of your life.

Residential Care at no Cost to You

I also think it’s wonderful that this program is completely free. Access to addiction treatment is essential, especially for those who cannot afford to pay. You’ll benefit from zero financial barriers to getting the support you need.

Their program structure also caught my eye. They emphasize peer support and model their program after 12 Step principles. You’ll participate in their Recovery Dynamic curriculum for six to eight weeks. They then offer a six week workforce development program. This track can equip you with valuable workplace skills that can help you get your life back on track.
