About The Bair Foundation
The Bair Foundation operates a Christ centered foster care and family services office in Kent, Ohio with outpatient behavioral health support that may include substance use treatment for adults and families in the foster care system.
The organization's primary mission is foster care, adoption and structured intervention services, but I want to add that behavioral health offerings are part of a broader family support model. The Kent location serves Northeast Ohio families and is just minutes from Cleveland and Akron.
What services are available?
The Bair Foundation offers outpatient services that include support for substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns with approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and 12 step involvement. I think it's valuable that aftercare and alumni programming help maintain progress after formal treatment. However, the Kent office is primarily a resource hub for foster families rather than a standalone addiction treatment facility.
Who can get help here?
Services are available for adults 18 and older, as well as children and families involved in the foster care system. The organization's behavioral health support is designed to serve foster families and individuals who benefit from faith based and family centered care.
What are insurance options?
The Bair Foundation accepts Medicaid, Medicare and TRICARE for eligible services.
