About The ALPHA Behavioral Center
ALPHA Behavioral Center serves three counties in South Carolina, including Chesterfield County. The clinic is in a secluded corner of Chesterfield and provides outpatient addiction and mental health treatment as well as support for co-occurring disorders for adults and youth. They offer medication assisted treatment (MAT), employment support and services for those involved in the justice system.
The Center doesn’t turn anyone away due to inability to pay. I love how they accept Medicaid and other insurance plans and have a sliding fee scale for those who qualify.
A Broad Range of Behavioral Health Services in Chesterfield County
The Chesterfield clinic offers evidence based mental health and addiction treatment for children, teens and adults. Anyone under age 16 needs parental accompaniment and consent. School based services are also available for youth.
Community based treatment offers adults treatment services to address substance use and/or mental health. You work on identifying underlying issues, increasing resilience and coping skills and making healthy choices.
MAT is available for adults with alcohol or opioid disorders. I like that they provide approved medication and therapy to help people create a good foundation for recovery.
They also have services for those involved with the courts. It helps people accept responsibility for their actions, change their thinking patterns and reduce or abstain from using drugs and alcohol. They provide updates to the court as clients progress through the program.
