About The Adanta Group Barren County
The Adanta Group operates 10 outpatient clinics across Kentucky as well as residential facilities for mental health, substance use and intellectual disability treatment. The Barren County outpatient clinic is in Glasgow. This center provides adults and adolescents with outpatient mental health and substance use treatment. They also have services for the justice involved and veterans.
Adanta accepts Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance plans. There are self pay options and a sliding scale of fees for those who qualify.
Outpatient Addiction and Mental Health Services
The Barren clinic provides case management for those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders as well as outpatient treatment for substance use disorders. The programs include individual and group therapy focused on managing cravings, learning life skills and preventing relapse.
Programs may include both court ordered clients and voluntary participants. I like that they have outpatient addiction treatment for both teens and adults in age appropriate groups.
Adanta also provides case management services to adults with a serious mental illness, and they serve those with co occurring addiction as well. Case managers provide connections to medical, educational and social services to help clients live as independently as possible while managing their symptoms effectively.
Services for Those Involved With the Courts
I noticed there are also court related services available at the Barren County clinic. Adanta delivers DUI assessments and individual and group therapy. They also have the Prime For Life Class for first time DUI convictions.
Adanta is also connected with the drug courts and veteran courts in their area. They provide substance use and/or mental health treatment to nonviolent offenders and veterans as an alternative to jail time. The goal is to address the root causes of criminal activity and lower the risk of reoffense.
