About Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge
The Spokane campus of Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge is located in Spokane, Washington. It provides both outpatient and inpatient care to you and your family, a dual focused practice that focuses on both the body and mind.
Outpatient and Inpatient Services for Long Term and Short Term Care
Outpatient services take place at a 5,000 square foot facility that aims at serving 1,000 people annually through outpatient substance abuse treatment. The campus is located on 32 acres of land and includes residential facilities, program offices, and a computer lab.
Their inpatient residential program offers a 12 to 15 month faith based residential discipleship program designed to help men aged 18 and over overcome addiction and life-controlling substances.
Clients Refer to Experience as Life Changing and Biblical
I find it reassuring that many former participants have described their experiences as life changing, highlighting the comprehensive nature of the program and the compassionate support from staff. It’s good to know that the organization is dedicated to helping individuals become healthy and whole in all areas of life: mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Christian Based Discipleship with Clinical Substance Use Disorder Counseling
One thing to note, this program integrates Christian faith based discipleship with clinical substance use disorder counseling, vocational training, and outreach opportunities. So be sure that your expectations align with the Christian focus that this program has.
Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge operates as a non profit and does not require insurance. But there is a $500 admissions fee when you start treatment, and you are encouraged to engage in fundraising efforts up to $1,250 per month. However, I think it’s good to know that clients will not be turned away for lack of funds and are supported through the fundraising process.
Reflect on Your Recovery Along the Spokane River
While at this campus you can reflect on your recovery journey at a prominent urban park in downtown Spokane, offering natural attractions like the Spokane River and Spokane Falls, as well as manmade attractions such as the U.S. Pavilion and the Great Northern clock tower.
