About Adult and Teen Challenge Greater Boston

Located in a residential area of Piedmont in Worcester, Massachusetts, Adult and Teen Challenge Greater Boston is a 38,000 square foot addiction treatment center. It's been around since 1964 and serves men who are struggling with substance abuse. They offer long term residential faith based treatment with proven therapies for lasting recovery. The cost for treatment is funded through community donations but families of residents are invited to contribute monthly to offset these costs. Services will not be denied to those who are unable to contribute financially.

A strong biblical foundation is the core of their programs. This is for recovery from addiction but also for living a worthwhile life. Their residential programs last between 10 and 12 months with additional 3 to 6 month options for those who need a little more time. During treatment, residents receive recovery education, clinical counseling and life coaching as well as vocational training. Each resident will leave the program with a high school equivalency. I like that you can apply for an apprenticeship in various trades such as carpentry, culinary arts, garden and office administration.

Adult and Teen Challenge does not offer outpatient programs directly. But they do partner with TC Clinical Group to provide these services to graduates of their residential program.
