About TAADAS

TAADAS, the Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug & other Addiction Services is a Nashville-based statewide association supporting addiction treatment, prevention, recovery, advocacy and education across Tennessee.

The organization connects residents and professionals with resources for alcohol, drug and gambling addictions, along with co-occurring mental health concerns.

TAADAS envisions a Tennessee where every resident has access to compassionate, value-based quality recovery services.

Statewide Addiction Referral Services

At the heart of TAADAS I noticed is the Tennessee REDLINE, a 24/7 call and text line that connects Tennesseans with addiction treatment and recovery services, including free and state-funded options.

Staff tailors referrals to each caller's needs, helping people navigate a complex treatment landscape quickly.

While REDLINE staff do not provide therapy or counseling directly, they can link callers to qualified professionals for diagnosis, assessment and ongoing care.

Problem Gambling Support and Recovery Resources

TAADAS maintains a dedicated gambling recovery database that I found features counseling, treatment, support groups and wrap-around services for problem gambling.

Through its Clearinghouse, the organization also distributes free literature on addiction, mental health, PTSD, suicide prevention and related topics to Tennessee residents.

The organization also supports treatment providers, prevention workers and peers through training, advocacy, and membership programs.

Clearinghouse educational materials are free to Tennessee residents, and many trainings are offered at no cost or with continuing education credits available.
