About Helio Health Recovery Center

Syracuse New York’s Helio Health facilitates a community drop in center called The Recovery Center. If you’re an adult aged 18 and over in recovery or impacted by recovery, you can access free offerings. The center offers a safe and structured environment with meetings. You’ll also have access to events and recovery support resources.

One thing I love about this facility is that all services at the Recovery Center are free. Here you’ll find support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and mental health support. LGBTQ+ support groups allow you to connect with likeminded people. They also provide activities like art classes and movie nights. You can explore creative writing and yoga. You can celebrate holidays and attend outings like an amusement park day with other people in recovery. Job coaching and Narcan training are also available at this facility.

The Recovery Center is open seven days a week and may have abbreviated holiday hours. The goal of the center is to provide a place where people in recovery can grow. They’ll help you learn and find connections.
