About Hello Health – Lincoln Residential Rehabilitation

Helio Health - Lincoln Residential Rehabilitation is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Syracuse, New York. They were formerly known as Lincoln House Residence for Men. They house and treat men who struggle with substance use disorder (SUD).

Participants in this program must be at least 18 years old. People in the program must have already completed inpatient rehab. The program provides a structured living situation for people with SUD who are undergoing outpatient treatment.

Payment Options

They take private insurance as well as Medicaid. They will bill people who do not have insurance on a sliding scale. No one will ever be turned away because of an inability to pay.

Evaluations

You will be given a full evaluation to determine the level of care that you need. They offer impaired driver evaluations for people convicted of driving under the influence. They provide Department of Transportation-qualified evaluations here.

Daily Life

This is a mid-sized home that has up to 30 men living in it at a time. Most people stay from four to eight months. I was impressed to learn the men here have private rooms.

In addition to group and individual therapy, the residents can have family and couples sessions as well. They have a special group for people with dual diagnosis who struggle with SUD and a mental health condition at the same time.

I love that they offer acupuncture; you would normally only find this type of alternative treatment offered at a much more expensive place. They also have nicotine replacement therapy available.

The staff can also help you with vocational training and obtaining a job. They will assist you in obtaining permanent housing before you leave.
