About Swanson Center
Swanson Center is a comprehensive behavioral health facility providing substance abuse care in Michigan City, Indiana. It’s one of two facilities operated by Swanson Center, with the other located in LaPorte, Indiana. The Michigan City location provides outpatient and continuing care support for people recovering from addiction.
MAT Services When You Need It
If your addiction has progressed to the point where you might suffer from severe withdrawal, Swanson Center provides medication assisted treatment (MAT) to help manage symptoms. However, this service is provided on a limited basis. Still, I like that this network will also provide referrals to detox services for people that need more intensive managed care. Limited toxicology reporting is also done onsite.
