About Sunrise Sober Living
Sunrise Sober Living, located in Murfreesboro Tennessee, offers services as a halfway house and sober living facility. They offer men in recovery from drug abuse a responsible way of life as they adjust back into society. They assist residents in achieving their objectives by utilizing evidence based techniques.
They provide accountability measures, life skills training, and individual and group therapy sessions. At each of their halfway house locations, a house manager is on site to offer support. The residents will be subject to weekly drug tests since they have zero tolerance for the use of any mind altering substances. They require attendance at a minimum of four outside 12 step meetings each week. The fifth meeting is a weekly house meeting that must be attended. They encourage all of their clients to pursue recovery in a family like environment supported by others who have been in similar situations.
Regular events like football games, hiking trips, and camping trips are planned to foster stronger relationships and promote enjoyable drug free activities. They provide residents with a variety of room options to best suit their needs and preferences. They help with professional matters like job interviews and maintaining good working relationships as well as personal skills like budgeting. Help is available for setting up and keeping up weekly or monthly savings and budgets.
They are compatible with medication assisted therapy and welcome clients who use medications under medical supervision such as Vivatrol or Suboxone. They also allow for direct supervision of some medications which are always kept in a safe location. Individualized mentoring is provided by men who have undergone similar experiences and have recovered from drug abuse and addiction.
They also help with education and finding jobs. You are required to have a temporary sponsor by the first week and a permanent sponsor by the fourth. For the purpose of assisting clients in getting started or getting out of a difficult financial situation, they do accept payments from outside parties.
