About Sundown Ranch

Sundown Ranch is a residential substance abuse recovery program in the hills of Canton, Texas. This is a private facility located on 450 private acres of land. They treat adolescent and young adult clients struggling with drug and alcohol addiction with comprehensive, evidence backed methods. Their individualized care plans are rooted in the 12 steps and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) modalities. Services they offer include inpatient residential treatment, one on one counseling, group counseling, family counseling, 12 step groups, addiction education, vocational and education support, experiential therapy, relapse prevention, referral services, recreational activities, and spirituality groups. Family services are also a major component of the program.

Sundown Ranch specializes in treating co-occurring disorders (coexisting substance abuse and mental illness diagnoses). These problems can exasperate one another and make treatment more difficult. This specialized care targets the symptoms of both issues and reduces the risk of relapse. Sundown Ranch accepts clients aged 13 to 17 years old.
