About Starview Community Center
Star View Behavioral Services, a member of the Stars Behavioral Health Group network, is a behavioral health support program serving Los Angeles County from its primary location in El Monte, California. Their mission is to provide support and treatment for children, teen, and young adult clients experiencing emotional or behavioral problems to avoid unnecessary placement in other programs. Services offered include outpatient treatment, stabilization services, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and support services, case management, medication support services, psychiatric evaluations, and juvenile hall services. Star View Behavioral Services offers these services in various locations throughout the county, including schools.
Specialized services include PRIDE (Promoting Respect in Dating Experiences) and dual diagnosis treatment for clients with a mental health diagnosis and substance abuse. Dual diagnosis treatment reduces the risk of relapse these clients experience by addressing and treating the symptoms of both. Stars Behavioral Health Group is accredited by The Joint Commission.
