St. Joseph's Addiction Treatment and Recovery Centers Inpatient Campus is located in Saranac Lake, New York. This is a drug rehab facility that serves men and women. There are also specialized veterans and first responders programs. This location offers inpatient care. Treatment is offered through voluntary admission and referrals from hospitals, detox units, court orders and other agencies.
Treatments are individualized to meet your unique recovery needs. Along with evidence-based approaches to care, there is also a trauma-informed approach to care here as well. I appreciate that this is a state-licensed and accredited facility. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team that may include licensed mental health counselors, certified alcohol and substance abuse counselors, psychiatrists and other medical staff.
The program here is structured to help guide your recovery journey. Through individual and group counseling, you’ll learn critical life skills that will help you rebuild your independence. There are also focus groups that can help you navigate challenges like grief and loss. Spiritual support is also available here through a dedicated Sunday service.
There are a host of recreational activities you can enjoy. Yoga and indoor and outdoor activities can help you build healthy habits that will help sustain your sobriety. Work assignments such as custodial support and residential chores are also required and are part of the treatment program.
There are also women's specific programs and lectures here as well. You’ll also find specialized groups including GED classes so that you can complete the requirements needed to fulfill educational requirements.
