About Square One

Square One started as a family-owned and operated chemical dependency service in 1979, in Redmond, Washington. Redmond is 15 miles east of Seattle and is well known as the home of Microsoft. With a population of roughly 80,000, the city combines urban areas and walkable neighborhoods with abundant green spaces for those in recovery.

Effective Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Square One provides alcohol and other drug treatment services, believing that all people have the power to change their lives for the positive. They treat alcohol and chemical dependency as a physically progressive disease that can be effectively treated as an outpatient. Their goal is to find the least restrictive treatment regimen that allows clients to maintain some of your daily responsibilities while promoting and sustaining abstinence.

Various Outpatient Treatment Options

They offer an intermediate outpatient program, an intensive outpatient (IOP) program and a relapse prevention program. It’s all designed to provide you with the structured programming you need to attain and maintain abstinence. I’m glad that the principles and practices of Alcoholics Anonymous are foundational to the treatment program and clients must attend a minimum of two meetings of AA or NA per week.

Customized Relapse Prevention Program

The relapse prevention treatment program meets the ASAM criteria for level 1 and is designed to provide tools to develop a personal prevention plan that addresses clients’ triggers and ongoing support.
