About SPA Womens Ministry Homes
SPA Womens Ministry Homes is an addiction treatment facility in Elkhart, Indiana. They provide a 12 month, Christ centered residential treatment program that is supervised around the clock. Women 18 years of age and older, who are open to receiving Biblical instruction, are eligible for their services.
To graduate, residents have to live in their facility for the full academic year. There will be four building levels that residents will move through in a year. Adjustment, learning or inner healing, employment, and transitioning are the four building levels. Their staff’s judgment is what determines how to go through the levels. In addition to practical life skills, they offer Bible based studies and discipleship activities. The services they offer include job placement, case management, and recovery groups.
Additionally, they manage a transportation program for working residents called Wheels to Work. They offer advice on managing your finances, learning about nutrition, and engaging in physical activity. This center offers service projects and community events and activities. The patient’s recuperation is aided by their mentor program and alumni aftercare.
All their program and services are offered to residents at no cost however lodging and board are paid for. They welcome non-Christian as well as pregnant women in their program. They are unable to accommodate children.
They don’t provide detox or medication because they are not a medical facility. But they collaborate with you to identify the closest detox facility. Additionally, they assist you in making immediate medical or mental health appointments. They also collaborate with the Department of Child Services. If you live outside of the city while on probation your probation will need to be changed to non-reporting probation because of transportation issues.
