With cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), you'll learn how to identify stressful emotions and triggers. You'll also learn various coping skills that can help you manage feelings of addiction use.
To help minimize your chances of relapse, medication assisted therapy (MAT) is also offered here. With the use of Suboxone and naltrexone/Vivitrol, you’ll be able to manage cravings that occur during recovery. These FDA approved meds have a proven history of helping minimize the risk of relapse while maximizing your potential for sustainable sobriety.
You'll also participate in motivational interviewing (MI). This will allow you to create realistic recovery goals and so that you have a plan of action to meet those goals. You'll also feel motivated and empowered to move through recovery in a manner that is meaningful and motivational.
You’ll also have access to psychoeducation and peer support groups. Through 12 Step programs like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, you can build a community of support. This will especially help you when you experience difficult moments in your recovery.
